Senior General Clerk

We are currently seeking a Senior General Clerk for our Earth City/St. Louis office.  Responsibilities include sorting and alphabetizing incoming health claims mail as well as other claims mail preparation; filing, photocopying, faxing and other clerical tasks; preparing correspondence as required; backing up the receptionist; providing training to new and existing employees; acting as a resource to other staff; and assisting with general accounting duties as necessary and assigned.

 

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years prior office, clerical and accounting related experience; good oral and written communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities; experience with multi-line phone system and prior training experience.  This position is hourly, under a union contract, and has a full-time schedule of 35 hours/week.
