HighlightsAIG Job ID: DBG-AA-PP-SMCPosition Type: Full Time - RegularLocation: GA-AlpharettaRelocation: NoRequirementsEducation: BachelorsExperience: 3-5 yearsDescription: What you will be doing:• Develop and edit creative and compelling copy for marketing collateral, such as brochures, postcards, advertisements, newsletters, promotion and other materials that sell our company’s products and services• Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and retain information to develop marketing materials and communications• Develop and maintain content on the company website• Develop and follow best practices for writing, editing and proofreading• Perform other assignments and special projects as neededWhat we require:• Bachelors degree in Journalism, English or related field required• Minimum 3 years of professional writing experience required, preferably in the insurance industry• Strong creative and business writing skills; ability to write effectively using various styles to address different needs and audiences• Excellent composition and grammar skills; strong knowledge of professional writing standards• Ability to quickly grasp knowledge of the Property & Casualty insurance industry and the company’s products and services• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills with a strong ability to collaborate at all levels• Strong attention to detail, follow through and accuracy a must• Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and competing priorities• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with continuous editorial deadlines• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment• Flexible and able to adapt to evolving requirements• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and the Internet• Must submit a writing portfolioAbout AIG: American International Group, Inc.
