Senior .Net Developer

We are currently seeking a Senior .Net Developer with a strong background in OOP development, database development and integration with n-tier web and client-based applications.  The candidate would have an opportunity to define, design, develop and guide implementation of various web sites and applications. Job Responsibilities: -  Work as part of a collaborative team maintaining and creating several web sites and client applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET, AJAX, C#, SQL Server, Web Services, Enterprise Services, Reporting Services)- Work with Business Analysts to analyze and convert business requirements into scalable, robust and flexible designs- Work with the ability to accomplish tasks independently while ensuring that deliverables properly integrate with the rest of the applications- Design and develop reusable software components- Create prototypes using the latest .Net technologies and third party applications- Participate in design sessions with architects and developers- Ensure code and design meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable- Utilize industry standard techniques such as UML to document and interpret designs- Unit test software components- Follow configuration management/version control policies- Investigate and research defects, present solutions with estimated work effort, and effectively implement tasks5+ years of application development experience- 3+ years building web and client applications in ASP.NET- 3+ years of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)- 3+ years of C# and .Net Framework (1.1 and 2.0)- 2+ years of application architecture and design experience- 2+ years with database performance, tuning and optimization- Experience in stored procedure, trigger and database design knowledge- Experience in relational database skills (SQL Server and/or Oracle)- Experience in application and database security, scalability and performance- Experience with XML and web services- Experience with applying design patterns in applications- Excellent database and application integration skills- Familiarity with modeling tools and the ability to read and construct basic UML diagrams- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is a must
