Senior .Net Developer - Windows Development

The successful candidate will be part of the Retirement Technology Group of Mercer in Deerfield, IL which researches, develops and maintains global retirement software for Mercer.  The RTG is presently seeking a Senior .Net Developer with a strong background in Windows development. 

Job Responsibilities: Code effective and efficient windows components using Microsoft .NET technologies Investigate and research defects, present solutions with estimated work effort and effectively implement tasks Ensure code  meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable Mentor other developers and peer review other developers code with a particular attention to accuracy and detail Follows prescribed process and configuration management/version control policies Unit test software components

 

 

Required Qualifications:BS in Computer Science or related 3 - 5 years .NET Framework experience Strong C# version 2.0 experience Strong WinForm development experience Strong SQL Server 2005, T-SQL, stored procedures and relational data base skills and proven experience Experience with Visual Studio 2005

Desired Qualifications:Background in finance, economics, mathematics or actuarial science MS Enterprise Library NET Remoting, Web Service experience N-Tier/Distribution systems architectures Infragistics controls Far point controls DTC and SOA CSLA business object model Microsoft Composite UI Application Blocks (CAB)
