Senior Program Manager, Worksite Wellness

The incumbent will lead efforts to identify and develop tangible products to our book of business that add value and make BCBSMA indispensable to our accounts and members. Assure that all applicable functional areas of the organization are coordinated internally and working in collaboration with accounts, brokers and vendor partners to generate the most effective program results. Work closely with IT and other key functional areas to develop wellness strategy and tools for the web that are accessed by members, accounts and sales for the purpose of improving member health and fostering loyalty. Drive delivery of analytics that ensure best in class program and outcomes reporting for our accounts, brokers and sales force in addition to accurately measuring the success of the worksite wellness initiatives. Key activities and responsibilities include: Develop, lead, manage, and motivate the worksite wellness team, internal collaborators and vendor partners. Work closely with the Director of Prevention and Wellness to establish a strategic direction for the worksite wellness team as part of the health care continuum for BCBSMA. Incorporate worksite wellness efforts into the organization's transformational strategies to improve member health. Identify emerging trends in prevention and incorporate them into products and services that improve member health and reduce health risk. Conduct market research to benchmark and evaluate new program innovations to increase retention, customer satisfaction, member health and cost savings. Develop and implement cost effective and well coordinated operations of the worksite wellness programs and ensure integration internally and with partners. Ensure that business and financial objectives are achieved for the worksite wellness programs. Manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously. Collaborate with and support all corporate groups impacted by worksite wellness programs, including Health and Wellness, Clinical Coordination, Product/Sales/ and Marketing, Actuarial, Underwriting, Health Informatics, Finance, IT, Legal, and Member Service - areas of collaboration include RFP responses, sales strategy development, reporting, pricing strategy and updates, and communication of trends in cost, quality and use Develop worksite wellness programs and services for member and accounts that differentiate BCBSMA in the marketplace, create loyalty and improve member health. Lead a cross-functional program evaluation including Actuarial, Health Services Evaluation, IT, and prevention and wellness to analyze the process and outcome success of the Personal Edge program and other key worksite wellness initiatives and make recommendations to strengthen the programs and services. Develop worksite wellness component of Informatics providing value to accounts with customized wellness data and solutions.Requirements: Excellent strategic thinking and strategy execution skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong written/verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization and to seek out alternative means to achieve goals Demonstrated ability to influence internal/external customers.
