Lead / Senior Quality Assurance Analysts - Insurance Lead / Senior Quality Assurance Analysts - Insurance CGI currently has multiple Lead and Senior Quality Assurance Tester positions currently open in Boston, MA. Within CGI, a Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for overseeing and executing the QATesting process through each phase of the QA/Test Life Cycle. Depending on the size of the project and type of testing to be performed, this position may be that of an individual contributor or lead person responsible for interacting with a project staff that consists of client and CGI resources working offshore, nearshore, onsite, or a combination thereof. The QA Leader/Tester is accountable to the Project Manager who has overall project responsibility. The Project Manager may be a CGI resource, client resource or some third party resource. The QA Leader/Tester provides expertise in testing tools and best practices and possesses the skills listed below:Quality Assurance Tester Roles and Responsibilities• Creation and execution of test cases and scripts• Establish and maintain a consistent test methodology• Responsible to ensure quality• Help software development team identify problems early in the process• Convert requirements, design, and use-cases into test cases• Verify that the system meets the client needs• Documentation and execution of test plan• Facilitates or performs random testing of all components in search of random bugs• Classic functional testing and quality assurance• Performance testing• Regression testing• Serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project including those onshore, nearshore, and offshore. • Provide feedback to global development staff.
