Senior SQL Server Database Administrators -GD

Overview:

Responsible for design and maintenance to ensure high availability of a 24x7 production database system. Plan and implement processes to streamline database changes across several environments. Develop stored procedures, triggers and ETL scripts, monitor production database and optimize stored procedures for better performance. Resolve locking conflicts and resource utilization. Ensure all database environments are in sync, define db scripts versioning system to track db versions for all environments, manage and create db schemas for relational database systems. Responsible for extensive application/SQL monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning and high availability strategies in Windows 2000/SQL Server 2000 24x7 production environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement of Master degree in Computer Technology or related field + 2 years of relevant experience.

Alternative minimum requirements: Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Technology or a related field + 5 years of experience.
