Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Server Operations team in Exton, PA.  As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will hold the following responsibilities.

1.  Develop an understanding of the business objectives, key initiatives and drivers of costs/revenue.  Anticipate changes in the business and in technology.  Take a proactive, collaborative approach to understanding business objectives and aligning technology solutions with these objectives.

2.  Understand the linkage between applications and infrastructure.

3.  Provide and analyze infrastructure trend data to predict failures and capacity limits and initiate actions to proactively address associated risks.

4.  Understand the applicability of compliance regulations to the server/storage environment and implement processes and best practices to detect or avoid compliance events.

5.  Analyze existing and new processes; recommend modifications for improvement or automation as needed to reduce problems and increase efficiencies and capabilities.  Code scripts to support automation and special projects as appropriate.

6..  Consults with internal clients to determine technology solutions according to business requirements. Performs architectural reviews of products/technology for business fit. Generate cost-benefit analyses to support technology solutions with business value.

7. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance communication skills, business knowledge, and knowledge of IT products and procedures. Takes active approach to staying on top of technologies that may create opportunities for the business.

8.. Maintain compliance with all standards, controls, policies and practices as an active participant in the Company's Information Privacy and Security Program.

9. Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Strong Windows 2003 Server Experience
Strong Citrix experience
Exchange experience
Active Directory skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5 years work experience
Expert knowledge of 1 major technical area (Windows) and a minimum of 5 years of experience with other technical areas
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Other Desired Requirements:
Experience with VMWare
IT Compliance controls
Project management experience
