Senior Vice President of Commercial Underwriting - Massachusetts

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 + Bonus Program

Our client is an A+ Rated Property and Casualty insurance company located in the beautiful New England region. They are financially strong and have over 50 years of experience.

In this role, you will work with the legal, actuarial and finance departments to manage and underwrite a very large and complex commercial account. You will be responsible for evaluating, adapting, assessing and analyzing the account to ensure proper coverage and risk transfer.

This is an executive-level position where you will be working closely with the CEO of the company.  It has outstanding growth potential and visibility.

To be qualified for this position, you should have:
- Commercial Underwriting experience with large and complex accounts
- Knowledge of the Risk Management function
- The ability to make consultative decisions and recommendations
- Clear understanding of commercial pricing
- Strong presentation and communication skills - oral and written
- College education and industry related designations are preferred
