(See description of Supervisory Responsibilities on the Employee Dashboard.) Conducts an ongoing risk assessment of operations to determine areas for attention. Develops and maintains short-range (one year) and long-range strategies based on risk assessment and management directives. Completes audits and projects per the premium audit schedule. Assigns staff to audits and projects appropriately to ensure high quality products and proper staff development. Ensures all audits and projects are conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with set departmental standards and guidelines. Prepares monthly/quarterly reports of premium audit activities, providing qualitative and quantitative assessments. Discusses and negotiates areas of dispute with agents and customers to reach agreement on premium audit findings. Keeps current on emerging technologies and trends in the premium audit field. Provides technical support and guidance to field auditors and vendors in conducting audits and projects. Reviews audit reports for content, accuracy and proper support, readability and tone, and for compliance. Manages relationship with contracted premium audit vendors, consistently communicating quality, timeliness, and customer relationship expectations. Evaluates and approves new vendors. Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals. Performs other duties as assigned..
