And we seek the visionary, driven individuals bold enough to chart the future with us.Software Administrator II thru Lead Portland, OR and Seattle, WABring your software administration background to the following roles:Install, maintain, upgrade and test new and existing software applicationsBe accountable for researching and solving highly complex software issues and collaborate with vendors and other support teams in regards to product or Infrastructure problemsTrain users on and modify software programs according to requests from the customer when necessaryAssist other staff to achieve increased technical proficiencyAdminister the integration of licensed and/or in-house developed applications and writing programs and/or scripting to integrate with other systems, including but not limited to, personal computing devicesResearch, analyze and submit analysis and recommendations for software development, enhancement replacement or purchaseLead project teams based on experience and knowledgeWork overtime and be on-call as necessaryCombine your degree and understanding of information technology applications with the following: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related discipline with focus on Information TechnologyMinimum of 5 years experience in administrating applications on Windows or Unix environmentsExperience deploying complex server systems through fire-walled environments Experience with network troubleshooting techniquesAdministration experience in at least 3 of the following areas is required: Mainframe applicationsRelational database experienceReport writing DBA Application deployment methodologies Endevor Harvest ClearCase Livelink Lotus Notes Rational application suiteHard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16405.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
