Software Developer

Job Summary: A web software developer is needed to develop framework level code as part of a project to port an existing application to newer technologies.

Summary of essential job functions: Candidate should be capable of translating requirements into detailed design and develop well written, unit tested software. As framework level software some abstract thinking is required. Candidate will also need to co-ordinate with development leads, business, QA and have good communication skills.

Minimum requirements:

Candidates should have a minimum 5 years of work experience and be



Proficient in Java5, Struts2 (possibly Struts 1), JSP, JDBC, Oracle, EJB, JMS, etc.



Candidate should be able to work in front-end as well as in back-end.



Familiarity with IBATIS and Spring is desirable.



A College degree in Engineering/Information Systems/Computer Science is required.



Abilities required:

Ability to work independently and within a team.



Strong problem solving skills are essential.
