Specialist, Web Visual Design

Scottsdale Insurance Company is seeking to add an experienced Web Visual Design Specialist to its Web / User Experience Team.

EDUCATION
Degree or extensive education in Web design and related technologies.

Experience
• Design: Five years experience in design field: graphic design, web design, and/or interface design. Knowledge of Adobe CS and WYSIWYG Web software necessary.
• Usability: Knowledge of usability and User-Centered Design concepts and practices is preferred.
• Excellent people skills: Successful candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, personable, creative, intuitive, detail oriented, team player with a helpful attitude and a sense of humor.
• Project experience: Required to work with internal customers and departments, assisting with planning and designing projects, interacting with clients and team members, and working with timelines, changes, and deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position’s responsibilities will include Website and application interface design and maintenance. Other responsibilities may include: prototyping, wireframing, information architecture, user-centered design, project team participation, client consulting, problem solving, graphics creation, and documenting and promoting Company Web/interface standards.
