Provides telephone support for customers engaged in handling claims status, claims adjudication problems, PCP changes, provider status and any basic questions regarding insurance coverage. Interfacing with internal departments over the telephone. Requires excellent communications skills, ability to work as part of a fast paced team and capability of handling stressful situations while maintaining a calm, positive attitude. - High school or GED diploma, some college a plus - Previous healthcare related Customer Service and/or claims processing experience - Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT-4, ICD-9, HCPCS and UB92 Codes, and standard Medical billing guidelines - Ability to prioritize and organize - Strong problem solving and diplomacy skills are required - Effectively articulates message and conveys ideas through speech and writing in a clear and organized manner.
