The successful applicant will be a member of the Financial Reporting team charged with the coordination of Actuarial financial management, along with management and oversight of ACE’s loss reserve balances. This is a position with influence and responsibility within the ACE Group and reports directly to the Actuarial Financial Reporting Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Management of ACE’s loss reserve balances through manual entry monitoring and account reconciliation.• Liaise with ACE USA Actuarial management and the Divisional Financial Officers on a regular basis.• Prepare presentations and periodic updates for senior management. • Liaise with ACE’s internal and external auditors on a regular basis. • Maintain strong relationships with senior management and provide them with strategic guidance relating to process improvement opportunities. The successful candidate should have: • At least 4 to 5 years experience, including direct experience in an Accounting or Finance role. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. • CPA or MBA preferred • Strong analytical and project organization skills. • An understanding of P&C insurance/reinsurance operations and key business processes. • The ability to identify and remediate operational/procedural inefficiencies. • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and AccessACE Limited (NYSE: ACE), the Bermuda-based holding company of the ACE Group of Companies, is one of the worlds leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, with 2006 gross premiums written of $17.4 billion and net premiums written of $12.0 billion.
