Sr. IT Business Analyst Join a team that is a critical part of Safeco's IT transformation! Safeco is redesigning its core systems and business processes. Our Information Technology department is a key part of many of our new systems. We are in the midst of upgrading and increasing our capacity to handle our new volumes. You could be part of the Systems Technology team at Safeco with a team of professionals who are committed to preparing for Safeco's future and to supporting critical business systems today. Summary: Be a part of the strategic BI Program supporting the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Solid knowledge of Business Analysis, methods and tools Strong data analysis skills Responsibilities: Participating in developing estimates for BA tasks Completing assigned tasks on multiple large projects, ensuring quality timely delivery Work with Business Data Managers to collaborate and coordinate all aspects of requirements Assisting BA Lead to ensure a smooth transition from development release to the production environment as needed Mentoring other BA's on the team as needed Work with diverse set of development staff onshore and offshore. Support and promote business intelligence throughout Safeco Qualifications: Effectively communicate w/ higher level business customers Experience working on multiple large projects Experience working with business customers on developing requirements Proven analytical skills and a strong technical aptitude Excellent communication skills Strong team attitude. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take appropriate level of risk Data Warehousing knowledge a plus Reporting Tools knowledge a plus We need a team-oriented person that will need to work with others to support existing systems and build new systems.
