Sr. IT Enterprise Architect

Premera Blue Cross is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the Solutions Architecture team. The Solutions Architecture team ensures the viability, interoperability and reliability of technology by translating business requirements and business strategy into effective Enterprise solutions. Create, communicate and improve the governing principles, standards and models that detail the Enterprise’s current state by combining and reconciling requirements from primary stakeholders. Deliver strategic roadmaps outlining the desired Future State and strategic initiatives required to realize. Provide Tier4 support to the Enterprise. This position will be accountable for establishing and driving an Enterprise IT Strategy focused on the evolution of Service Oriented Architecture as it relates to major Premera systems. The Sr. Solutions Architect will work directly with key customers in Operations, IT and across the Enterprise to define business requirements, create technical strategies that enable business solutions and provide senior technical support for driving the solutions to implementation. The position will also be available as a Tier4 support resource for Infrastructure and Applications. Requirements: 9+ yrs related Information Technology experience across multiple IT disciplines (e.g. Application Development, Telecommunications, Client/Server, Network, Databases, Web, etc.) with at least 2 - 4yrs of senior technical experience in a major technical discipline related to Application Development and complex system integration. Must have experience with: Enterprise Systems, Integration Middleware, Development Methodologies, Service Oriented Architecture and XML related standards.
