The Sr. Programmer Analyst will design, develop and implement J2EE solutions with minimal supervision.•May provide work direction for Programmer Analyst and Programmers and provide production support of existing systems.•Completes the analysis and technical requirements gathering of automated solutions to business problems or applications software.•Develop solutions which provide cost benefits for the end-customer and the company.•Communicate effectively with IS management, users and vendors.•Design, code and document software in the appropriate language using standard techniques.•Develop, execute and review unit test plans and results.•Maintain existing systems, which may involve 24 hour/day, 7 days/ week coverage.•Provide assistance for team members in the development and implementation of business solutions.•Maintain communication with customers to ensure system meets customer’s requirements.•Provides revised project cost estimates once analysis and business design is completed.•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or IT related field.•Minimum 5 years information technology experience consisting of both technical and leadership responsibilities.•Systems development methodology (Rational Unified Process), tools and techniques experience.•Excellent oral and written communication skills.•Time management, planning and organization skills.•Prior experience with mortgage banking or financial business applications.AIG United Guaranty is one of the nation’s top-ranked mortgage insurance companies.
