Sr. Research Analyst, Informatics - Provider Contracting/Reimbursement

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Coordinating and carrying out health services research and analysis projects. Developing measures of quality and efficiency to assess consistency and accuracy of provider contracting tools. Explaining episode grouping methodology to both internal and external customers. Conducting health services research using clinical, survey or administrative data in support of Informatics analytical projects.Providing guidance and support to other analysts, managing project timelines, monitoring and ensuring data integrity, evaluating results and summarizing findings.Ensuring sound research design and analytical methods.Providing analytic support to the Provider Contracting & Reimbursement team, using a working knowledge of operational systems (authorizations, claims, membership, provider) and applications (including fee schedule modeling) to create informative reports and analyses.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

 Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, clinical, or research field.Three years experience analyzing large datasets, demonstrable technical experience and data management skills including data development, data extraction, transformation, QA and metadata capabilities, sophisticated statistical analytic skills. Skill in advanced programming (SAS, SQL) with large datasets.Strong skills in carrying out analytic projects.Strong writing and speaking skills.
