RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Administrator, you will recommend, implement, and maintain network system components, including network servers and software.  You will also work with senior management to plan, implement, and support Enterprise server network infrastructure and mentor and provide work direction less senior staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:5 to 7 years of experience working with multiple vendor equipment (IBM, HP) preferably in a telecommunications or ISP environmentMinimal technical environment experience: minimum of 500 users/employees and minimum of 100 serversStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft ClusteringStrong technical knowledge with TCP/IP and addressing, DNS, DHCP and server supportExperience deploying and maintaining Citrix (version 4.0 or greater - Presentation Manager) serversDocumentation of servers that are builtPlanning – putting together a plan of a system that was builtAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment with continually changing objectives and targetsExcellent organization skills

Preferred:Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS/DAS technologyStrong knowledge of Compellent SANExperience deploying and maintaining JBOSS, IIS, and other web-based technologies in a 3-tier architecture model (strongly preferred)Experience with IBM Director/Blade Server technologyExperience deploying and maintaining virtual environments using VMware (version - Virtual Infrastructure 3 – VI3)Experience with Microsoft Systems Center technologies including SCCM, SCOM (strongly preferred)Experience with SQL Databases a plusTelecom knowledge (T1, DS3, DSL.) a plusExperience with CommVault (backup software) a plus

Certifications Preferred:  MCSE, MCP, VCP desirable
