Sr Systems Administrator
Description:Receives limited supervision and is competent to work at the highest level of systems administration and problem determination while working on own most of the time. Performs the administrative activities required to support large, complex systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the support, installation and configuration of a highly available Authentication and Authorization Directory Services environment. This includes replication scheme's to deliver 100% availability of LDAP and SiteMinder services across the Liberty Mutual enterprise.Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least four or more years of experience in systems operation and administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Requires knowledge of the operating environment - technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database and output/receiving. Strong consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, judgment and the ability to work effectively with client and other systems technical staff, consultants and vendors. Highly proficient in operating system utilities and system or network management tools; expertise in tracing and analysis techniques. Previous experience with LDAP, Sun Java System Directory Server Version 6.3, and SiteMinder, Version 6.5, required. Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
