Sr. Systems Developer

This position will be focused on assisting in the ongoing development and maintenance of both our CRM product and our website.  We are looking for a “working project manager”, a person that can balance delivery of the majority of development in an effective and efficient manor all the while following company standards for development practices.

The position requires very strong and broad technical expertise balanced with outstanding customer service skills and complemented with effective staff and project management abilities.

 

QualificationsThree or more years experience leading enterprise web and Windows application development projects in a mission critical business environmentExperience in specification development, systems design, prototyping, documentation, developing online help, training and usability functions, application deployment, maintenance and change control Ability to design and build compelling graphical layouts, creative GUI design and logical navigation with appealing design elements Experience with scalability, security, and reliability in various dynamic web application environments and database driven architecture Ability to provide business systems analysis skills in defining requirements with a strategic view Self-motivated to identify, evaluate and recommend the usage of emerging technologies to create innovative solutions for competitive advantage in web design, application architecture, and security best practicesExcellent English oral and written communication skills Ability to coordinate initiatives with outside vendors - “working project manager”Ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines Ability to work well both independently and with others, organizing and prioritizing responsibilities and maintaining a professional manner Willingness to work overtime if necessary

 

MAJOR Requirements (must have):

· Very strong development skills and experience in HTML/DHTML, Visual Basic .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML/SOAPSignificant independent website design and development experience VB & C#.net – lead hands-on development needs for all website work.ASP.net – additionally, for website developmentStrong skills and application development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005 including application performance tuning,  stored procedures, triggers, Transact-SQLMicrosoft SQL server 2000 & 2005 experience – back-end system for dataBusiness Analyst skills – requirements gathering, functional specifications

 

MINOR Requirements (beneficial to have):Project Management experience – working knowledge of software development lifecycle XML – for data exchange as both publisher and subscriber Reporting Services – for standardized reportingSystem Documentation – to build support material related to systemsWindows 2003 – familiar with operating system platform in useSource Safe – for source code managementACCPAC Advantage Accounting, Clientele CRM.NET, Crystal Reports,  Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, Flash, Eldorado HEALTHpac, MS Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Microsoft ISA Server experience a plus
