Supervisor - Casualty

Major Duties and Functions Include: Supervises a casualty claims unit. Provides direction and necessary authority in the investigation, reserving and disposition of bodily injury claims. Through supervision of claims adjusters, ensures that all assigned claims are handled properly and timely. Other related duties as assigned or required. People management responsibilities including performance and compensation management, and training and development. What You Need to Succeed: Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience is preferred. A minimum of 4 yrs. of casualty claims supervisory experience in the state of Florida. Knowledge of complex coverage issues and high value claim exposures. Superior level of expertise in evaluation and negotiation process. Proven ability to train and develop personnel. Demonstrates leadership qualities and is able to achieve objectives by managing direct reports. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
