Supervisor, Medical Management Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT or Lewiston, IDBased on the function in Healthcare Services hired for, you will perform a variety of the duties below: Supervise staff, oversee and coordinate the activities of the medical management professional staff Serve as a role model, mentor and resource for staff members Participate in the departmental strategic plan development and promote achievement of department goals consistent with corporate objectives Assure that medically necessary, cost-effective quality care is delivered according to program specifications Oversee any of the following units: Utilization Management Case Management Condition Management Medical Operations (Medical Appeals & Policy) Quality Management Seeking quality candidates with one or more of the following qualifications:Bachelor's (or higher) degree in a health-related fieldCurrent RN, PA, or NP License or professional certification in a clinical specialtyMinimum of 3 years clinical practice experience3 years experience in one of the service areas (utilization management, case management, condition management, medical operations or behavioral health management) Certification is strongly preferred (required for case management)2 years supervisory experience is required (may consider extensive experience in lieu of supervisory experience)Knowledge of health insurance industry trends and new technologyHard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16399.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
