With our strong capital base, financial stability, diversified earnings stream and multinational operating platform, we offer an excellent opportunity for your future growth and development.Details of this great opportunity follow:The following responsibilities will be in addition to the current Underwriting Assistant functions:Responsibilities:• Supervise the Underwriting Administration process including workflows, work product, customer service and quality controls.• Training – identify training needs and coordinate employee training on work product, systems and procedures. Conduct general operations orientation and training for new hires. • Respond to operations questions and queries, collaborate closely with managers and underwriters and work toward a successful outcome• Lead operations projects as they arise.• Supervise the Mailroom function; file maintenance, archive procedures, temporary staff.• Oversee Policy Issuance, Coding of Premium, Run Reports, Handle Queries• Provide general supervision of Underwriting Assistant Unit; attendance tracking, ensuring adequate coverage at all time, contribute to performance reviewsQualifications:• Leadership, training and problem solving skills• Strong organizational and prioritization skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to multitask• Excellent customer service skills• Strong initiative• Ability to thrive is a fast passed, deadline driven environment• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamACE Limited (NYSE: ACE), the Bermuda-based holding company of the ACE Group of Companies, is one of the worlds leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, with 2006 gross premiums written of $17.4 billion and net premiums written of $12.0 billion.
