Willis of Maryland is currently searching for a Surety Client Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region. This is an outstanding opportunity for a surety professional looking to work with the largest construction surety broker in the world.
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Assisting Producers and Client Advocates / Account Executives in the production and servicing of surety clients and the management of day-to-day service tasks
· Working closely with surety Marketing to secure information from prospects and existing clients and assist in the placement and management of surety programs
· Assisting in issuing surety bonds, consent and change orders for and on behalf of surety clients
· Identifying account rounding and cross-sell opportunities
· Assisting with resolving client, carrier and/or vendor accounting issues, including collections, discrepancies, fee arrangements, billing contracts, coordination of bond requests, and underwriting information
· Ensuring compliance with Willis and Regulatory procedures
· Some travel may be required
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets and attributes:
· Minimum 3+ years construction surety experience
· History of excellent account servicing with the ability to provide consultative and expert advise to management and Clients
· Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or other relevant discipline
· A valid, relevant State Property and Casualty license
· First-class interpersonal including relationship building, skills
· Strong communication (verbal and written), numerical, presentation and organizational skills are essential with keen attention to detail
· Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential
