Systems Administrator

Overview:

The duties will include system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and management of various Windows 2000/XP applications and systems, and resolution of routine desktop trouble tickets.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day services, support and assistance with various Windows 2000/XP applications and systems, and resolution of routine desktop trouble tickets. Responsive resolution of routine desktop trouble tickets. Perform system monitoring, identify network problems, and communicate recommendations for solutions. Additional responsibilities include assisting with installation of new PC and LAN hardware and software. Assist with space management and utilization as needed. Help staff move as needed. Set up conference meetings with necessary technology (laptops and projectors).

Qualifications:

Thorough understanding of Active Directory; including replication, GPO, and DNS. Competent understanding of TCP/IP networking for LAN and WAN. Proficient knowledge of Office 2000 functions and operations. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details. Excellent team working skills. Associate degree in computer Systems or equivalent job experience. Minimum of 2 years experience working with Windows 2000 workstation including Server and Exchange 2000. MCSA certification.
