Develop, test and implement system changes for Quantum, Corporate Tax, and vendor and bank proprietary systems. Develop and implement reports as per business requirements.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSPosition(s) Supervised:No Direct ReportsPRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Assists with maintenance of Treasury and Tax workstations • Assist with application system upgrades in CorpTax, Quantum and Quantum interfaces. • Work with IBM to develop, customize and maintain interfaces.• Assist with vendor application upgrades.• Coordinate Testing of applications when changes are applied due to software, operating systems, or hardware upgrades.• Develop, customize and maintain applications using MSAccess• Develop, customize and maintain complex queries in Access database and Excel• Develop, test and implement Reports using Crystal XI• Develop, test and implement Reports using Excel, MSAccess databases• Develop queries in Peoplesoft financial system• Administration of bank proprietary systems• Assists with special projects as assigned by managementQualifications Summary:Education/Certification: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or MIS requiredRequired Knowledge: • Programming knowledge in Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Excel and Crystal XI• Knowledge of System Analysis and Design• Knowledge and comfort with client server environment• Knowledge of MSSQL database Experience Required: • Two years of programming experience with Microsoft Access. • Two years of application development using Visual Basic tools. • Two years of Report programming and design experience with Crystal XI• One-two years of experience supporting a Treasury/Accounting/Finance Department.Skills/Abilities: • Excellent project management and analytical skills; adept at problem solving.• Ability to identify priorities and reschedule tasks as appropriate.• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.• Ability and willingness to work with others in all departments in an effective and efficient manner to accomplish team and company goals and objectives.Desired:• Exposure to Treasury and/or Treasury Management Systems (Quantum)• Exposure to Tax and Corporate Tax System (CorpTax)• Experience with Peoplesoft Financial system• Experience with Treasury Management Systems reportingACE Limited (NYSE: ACE), the Bermuda-based holding company of the ACE Group of Companies, is one of the worlds leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, with 2006 gross premiums written of $17.4 billion and net premiums written of $12.0 billion.
