Technical Lead/Architect Ariba

Our client

is currently looking for Application Technical Designer. This position is to assume an architecture role and lead development position within the Corporate Systems Administration Systems team supporting various areas and specifically the Ariba eProcurement tool. The incumbent will be required to architect and design complex technical solutions. Solid knowledge of Ariba Buyer, Contracts Compliance, and Invoicing are required.

 







Position Requirements:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Evaluating technical specifications and delivering technical solutions
 Performing analysis and providing estimates to enhancement requests
 Developing solutions to enhancement requests for production support
 Managing tasks from project plans for deliverables assigned
 Providing status on deliverables
 Resolving application issues and day to day support of the application
 Supporting the effort for application upgrades
 Applying and testing patches to the application
Serve as subject matter expert in the design of Technical solutions to support business requirements

SKILLS:
 Bachelor�s degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years technical experience using and customizing Ariba Buyer 8.x.
At least 5-7 years as an application developer
 Tool belt and confidence of programming skills with the following: Ariba, Tibco, Oracle, MS-SQL, Java, Sun Solaris, Web-sphere, Web-logic.
 Application knowledge on spend management and e-procurement process.
 Object based design with Ariba
 Good communication skills.
 Advise business systems analyst to help define requirements
 Knowledge expert on the Ariba tools
 Expert with the complete Ariba object model
 Knowledge and comfort with the Software Development Life Cycle
