Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing agency performance within assigned territory for Commercial, Personal, and Specialty lines of business by:Effectively conducting agency meetingsMonitoring agency growth and profitabilityDeveloping SMART profit improvement and growth plans that effectively drive profitable businessProactively identify performance gaps, trends and issuesDevelop and execute strategies for increasing agency profitabilityAct on quote activity to effectively close the business and achieve hit ratio targetResponsible for agency administration to include: producer profiles, business plans, agency coding, agency files, PSA, and new appointments/terminations.Develop productive partnerships by effectively communicating with agents regarding niche business brand value drivers, target market opportunities and target acquisitions opportunities.Increase market presence by developing new agency appointments, opportunities for book transfers and identifying additional production sources with agencies.Effectively communicate enterprise and segment goals, territory goals and state strategies to agents.Effectively gather, analyze and evaluate competitor information and develop action plans that make use of competitor intelligence.Provide input and data on Agency Marketing Reviews.
Requirements:Previous sales, claims, underwriting or operations experience providing the following skills: sales, presentation, negotiation, and industry knowledge.Ability to develop, implement and communicate company programs, new business, and agency action plans.Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.Excellent business analysis skills.College level coursework or equivalent experience in Property & Casualty business/sales.Excellent influencing and team work skills.Effective time and resource management skills.In some territories, possess in depth segment knowledge/experience in Commercial, Personal, or Specialty lines of business.
