Treasury Services Director

Delta Dental of California, the state’s largest health plan, has an immediate opening for a motivated, self-starter in our San Francisco corporate headquarters location to be responsible for:

 

·  Managing external investment managers and monitoring performance for our company’s corporate portfolios

·  Directing  and managing all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, and account funding; ensuring adequate liquidity for working capital needs and investing short term excess cash

·  Overseeing and managing banking and financial institution relationships; negotiating bank and service fees; implementing new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and efficiencies

·  Coordinating the management of the company’s pension and 401 (k) plan investments, investment mangers and custodians to ensure optimal management of plan assets; participating in matters related to pension plan accounting, funding, actuarial valuations, governance and other issues related to the investments of the plans

·  Directing and managing risk functions; supporting leasing analysis and pricing

·  Coordinating with other finance and accounting resources to provide analysis and reports to drive efficient and effective decision-making

·  Providing leadership and direction to the staff and on all major projects

 

Ideal candidate will have:

 BA/BS in Finance or related fieldMBA, CCM or CPA, preferred7+ years in corporate finance, including managing corporate cash balances and investments5+ years successful leadership and managerial experienceKnowledge of banking practices, institutional investments, investment markets, securities structure and insuranceExtensive knowledge of cash controls and cash forecastingKnowledge of health care industry issues, preferredProficient with Excel, Word, Access and OutlookDemonstrated ability to handle multiple projectsStrong oral, written and interpersonal skillsProven analytical and problem solving skillsProven ability to foster an inclusive and engaging environmentProven success developing positive working relationships with internal and external customers
