Description:Entry level professional position to participate in a formalized, comprehensive training program to learn to perform the duties of an underwriter. Program consists of classroom instruction, self-study and on the job training. Working under supervision, ensures a profitable book of business by appropriately pricing acceptable risks and rejecting those that are not acceptable within authority levels established. Markets company products and services to the agents and participates in the agency management process.Qualifications:EDUCATION: BS/BA required. Must meet acceptable GPA requirements. EXPERIENCE: Analytical skills.
