 Underwriting Assistant 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Provide technical support to commercial underwriting team.  Responsible for expediting incoming inquiries and requests from clients.  Follow up with clients for needed information as determined by Underwriting team.  Accountable for rating of new business and renewals.  Preparing and evaluating endorsements.  Will work closely with the processing department to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:Commercial Property & Casualty experience required,Computer experience with: Word, Excel, email and automated rating systems;Strong analytical and math skills;Excellent oral and written communication skills;Customer focused attitude with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors Degree or equivalentExcellent Sales and Communication Skills Strong Interpersonal and Organizational Skills Overachiever and Creative Thinker Pre-Employment Physical and Drug Screening Light Travel
