(AIG), an international insurance and financial services organization, has a Unit Manager position available in our Columbia, SC office. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the following:* Plan, supervise and direct the work of the claims representatives in this location* Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing employees * Review complex cases that exceed the claim rep authority and initiate further action * Provide technical expertise as required * Report on status of claims to Branch Manager What we require: * Minimum 5 years experience handling complex auto claims with emphasis on injury resolution; Material damage experience required * Minimum 3 years supervisory experience required * Must possess strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills * Demonstrated leadership skills required * Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience About AIG: American International Group, Inc.
