Please read on for more details regarding this position. JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY: Will provide overall leadership and direction for Outside Property Claim Unit in the State of New Jersey, by ensuring file quality, expense management, payout and customer service targets are met or exceeded. Develop and implement unit process improvement initiatives.Responsible for file reviews of unit members to measure and improve performance of unit results. Focus on achievement of superior file quality results consistent with Best Practices.  Provide development opportunities, ongoing counsel and constructive performance feedback. Select, train and motivate team. Responsible for staff development, performance management and compensation planning. Ensure appropriate deployment of resources to maximize productivity and unit cost.Effectively manage ULAE and ALAE to help promote competitiveness in the market place.Periodic customer, agent and broker visitation.Preparation and participation in account file reviews.Ensure focus on achievement of scorecard results and file quality consistent with Best Practices and Special Account communications.Position requires travel throughout assigned territory which may require evenings, weekends and overnight stays.Will require participation in our Catastrophe Response Program, which could include extended travel time away from the office on storm duty. EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDYCollege degree and equivalent work experience WORK EXERIENCE3-5 years Property claim handling experience a minimum.  Demonstrated leadership in current or prior positions held preferred.Comprehensive understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines Property coverage Knowledge of Xactimate requiredCommand of Impact workstation and Word.
