ThePlanning and Program Management Office offers qualified candidates a uniqueopportunity to work on a wide variety of cross-functional initiatives, includingtechnology projects, business process improvement efforts, and development ofproject execution standards.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support toresolve problems and improve business operations; will provide complexanalytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support ofcross-functional business operations. And will develop, prepare, and analyzescomplex reports for management review using MS Access and Excel and CMS –CallManagement System.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of this team, the Senior Business Analyst provides cross-functionalanalytical support for strategic and operational initiatives. Primaryresponsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and managing businessrequirements for complex cross functional initiatives.
Analyzing and documenting business process flows, identifying opportunities forimprovement and assisting with the design of future state processes.
Planning and organizing operational User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts ontechnology initiatives.
Coordinating resources and activities on smaller scale, lower complexityefforts.
Working with Project Managers, line management, and other stakeholders to assessnew requests or changes and identify financial, resource, and other impactsacross multiple functional areas.
Assisting with design and development tools to support project portfolio andresource reporting
Identifying opportunities for improvement in operational performance and workingindependently, or with others, to implement a solution.
Strong facilitation, organization, and presentation skills.
Skills: REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and five years relevant experience or equivalent combinationof education and experience.
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems related to VRU automatedsystems and operations.
Extensive knowledge of Telephony, PCs and related software applications.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Effective presentation skills.
Good math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the various phases of the Project Life Cycle.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcileconflicts, distinguish underlying true needs from user requests, and formsolution ideas from requirements.
Proactively identify project risks, issues, impacts, and opportunities, escalateappropriately and offer creative solutions when necessary.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, adapting communicationstyle and approach based on a variety of audiences.
Experience in Business Process and Workflow Modeling/Analysis.
Understanding of requirements elicitation and documentation methods, tools andtechniques (JAD facilitation, use case modeling, 1:1 interviews etc.)
Thorough and detailed analytical skills, experienced with decomposing high-levelinformation into details and abstracting up from low-level information to a moregeneral understanding.
Experience participating in and/or coordinating User Acceptance Testing ofsoftware solutions.
Working understanding of project/portfolio based financial and resourcereporting.
Understanding of Project Life Cycle and Software Development Methodologies.
Develop and maintain call routing documentation that outlines call flowconfigurations.
Keeping abreast of new technologies and their impact on business process.
Working with vendors to resolve any issues.
Strong facilitation, organization, and presentation skills.
Ability to help positively drive change across the organization.
Background in healthcare operations, preferred but not required.
