WC Reinsurance Claims Examiner/Analyst

Essential Functions:Work with claims manager to review reinsurance claims for coverage on various contracts. Evaluate exposures for reserves. Create and maintain claim files. Keep senior management advised of important claim activity. Set up incurred claims into the computer system and authorize payments within the authorized lines. Assisting with auditing claims and preparing spreadsheets for reported losses. Evaluating various claim operations, claim work products and reported losses under reinsurance contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 3+ years experience as a Workers Compensation adjuster. Formal insurance claims training is helpful. Medical injury knowledge and medical cost knowledge for injured workers is required. Prior experience with Personal Accident Insurance is a plus. Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other business-related software
