Web Server Systems Administrator

Premera Blue Cross is looking for an experienced web server Systems Administrator to join the IT Infrastructure Systems Administration team. Systems Administration is responsible for the operational success of essential enterprise services including: Internet eCommerce portals, intranet and custom applications using a web browser interface. This team brokers new web services using Microsoft server operating systems and IIS web servers and provides project engineering support as well as 24/7/365 support. System Administrators on this team partner with project systems engineers, development teams, client server applications administration teams and with the general user population. The System Administrators not only provide systems support they also identify architectural and engineering improvements and develop strategies for the company's future direction. IT supports the main campus located in Mountlake Terrace, a secondary Datacenter in Spokane, other sites in the western states - totaling 5,000 users. Our processes (work intake, incident/problem/change management, etc) are based on the ITIL framework. Requirements: 4 years of industry related experience. Knowledge of and experienced with Windows server operating systems and MS IIS, and experience supporting enterprise services and network environments. Familiarity with ITIL a plus!
