Workers' Compensation Account Representative - SRS

You will develop and share business knowledge and claim handling expertise with team members and business partners while building constructive and effective relationships both internal and external to the company. WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?A Workers Comp Claim Representative is responsible for the investigation and reserving of claims, medical and disability management, in addition to valuation and disposition of all claims assigned. Customer service is a key responsibility, which includes prompt contact and timely return of all calls. WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?Minimum 1-5 years of direct Workers' Compensation experience Experience handling both Ohio Self Insured and State Fund claimsLitigation management experience required Good written and verbal communication skills Enthusiasm to work in a team environment and build technical expertise by collaborating with others on difficult cases. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service including experience in using diplomacy and tact to effectively avoid or diffuse high-tension situations State required certification exams and adjusting licenses needed Any other certifications are a plusWHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance.
