Account Manager – Lead Generation
The Role:
In a new key sales position you will have an opportunity to accelerate the growth of an emerging, strategic revenue stream for Kaboose Inc. This is a high profile role suited for an exceptional achiever with proven ability to contribute individually and as part of a dynamic and results focused team, combining both Sales and Marketing skill sets. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
· Building a new revenue stream:
· Prospecting new business and maximizing existing business for the lead generation arm of Kaboose Inc. by procuring offers for promotion on the Kaboose Family Network from both lead generation networks / agencies and direct from advertisers.
· Targeting advertisers seeking moms and kids across a diversity of product categories including existing advertiser categories on the Kaboose Network (food, packaged goods, pharmaceutical and finance advertisers), as well as testing new non-traditional categories that would appeal to our key demo and expand our breadth of offerings.
· Negotiating business and contract terms.
· Developing sales strategy and solutions:
· Collaborating w/Director of Marketing to develop improved rate card and high ROI yielding offerings to clients seeking lead generation opportunities on all Kaboose properties.
· Contributing ideas, working with Marketing and Product Development teams, to build out innovative solutions for promoting and generating leads throughout the network.
· Managing business performance:
· Monitoring and reviewing results and work with internal teams to optimize offer placements and maximize the revenue yield of lead generation pages and modules on all of the Kaboose properties.
· Providing weekly sales and performance reports tracking to forecast.
Experience and Qualifications:
· You have a proven track record with Lead Generation / CPA advertising and have success procuring offers, yielding revenue of over $1M annually
· You have a minimum of 3 years sales/account management experience
· You are extremely knowledgeable about lead generation networks / agencies as well as fundamental agency media planning practices and procedures
· You are a team player who possesses superior interpersonal and communication skills, you are highly engaging with very polished presentation skills
· You are extremely goal driven and a proven self-starter – highly creative, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial
· You are proficient in:
o Research tools: Comscore, Nielsen @Plan and Google Analytics
o Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
o Salesforce.com
