Jupitermedia currently has a job opening for an Accounts Payable Representative in their Darien, CT office.  This person will work on a team that is responsible for all payments of goods and services necessary for the basic operation of Jupitermedia.

 

Responsibilities:Ensure invoices are signed / approved and coded;File invoices, maintain vendor files;Complete credit applications for new vendors;Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, franchisees, and others in a courteous and professional manner;Maintain balance sheet and journal entry binders;Prepare annual 1099 forms;Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions;Scanning documents

 

Job Requirements:General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices;High school diploma or equivalent plus 2-3 years previous experience;Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, E-mail and accounting software, Great Plains a plus;Exercise discretion with highly confidential information;Must be highly detailed oriented, organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.
