Administrative Assistant III
VeriSign, Inc. (VRSN) seeks a high quality, experienced Administrative Assistant III for the Accounting & Internal Audit group.Duties include: providing general and administrative support, organizing internal and external meetings, scheduling travel (domestic and international), answering, screening and routing internal and external phone calls, orchestrating onsite and offsite meetings and events, employee communications, dealing with confidential information and general office support functions such as supply ordering, file maintenance, purchase order, receiving and expense reports.- Responsibilities also include performing a variety of complex administrative tasks, with the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment. Candidate should be familiar with financial-related documents, very detailed oriented, extremely organized, possess excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires extensive software skills: PowerPoint/Excel/Oracle/MS Word/Microsoft Outlook. Should be technically proficient, able to work independently, be flexible, adaptable, self motivated and a team player. Experience: - Minimum of 3-5 years administrative experience in a high-tech environment.- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Oracle, Outlook- Strong coordinating, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills- Judgment, tact, diplomacy and professionalism required- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion- Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness and follow-through- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing work environment- Initiative and strong customer-service orientation- Strong attention to detail and ability to rapidly learn and apply new related skills- Ability to cooperate with others in achieving individual and team objectives- Ability to establish strong working relationships and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
