Local Online Sales Specialist

 

Chicago Sun-Times News Group is a leading Chicagoland area media company publishing over 90 daily and weekly newspapers and websites reaching over 200 local Chicago area communities.

Position based in Glenview working with our north group of newspapers including Pioneer Press and Lake County News-Sun.  Responsible for generating advertising revenue from local advertisers through online advertising and sponsorship programs on all Sun-Times News Group websites:

Responsibilities:Solicit revenue from new and existing clients by developing sales strategy and advertising packages.Build new and strengthen current client/agency relationships.Ensure client campaign delivery and complete follow-through activities.Develop expertise in online trends, competition.Work closely with STNG account managers on joint sales efforts.

 

College degree required.  Minimum 4 years experience in media sales required.  Experience in online sales preferred.  Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.  Must be highly motiviated and independent worker.  Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft programs:  Word, Excel and PowerPoint necessary.  Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
