Brand Manager - Product Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced customer-focused Sr. Product Marketing Manager to define, validate, and execute the messaging and positioning within our Merchant Services Organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Succinctly capturing the core value proposition and key benefits; message doc; website positioning; marketing and sales collateral; product naming, coordinating market research. The manager will work closely with the Business Unit owners who are ultimately responsible for the overall Merchant Services product roadmap. This person will:

• Manage marketing for a product line, set targets, develop and execute plans to get us there.
• Serve as the voice of the customer (online businesses)
• Partner with the business owner to define and execute market research to develop customer insights that help inform product development and marketing strategies/tactics
• Work closely with others in the organization including: product managers, financial analysts, sales teams, direct-response marketers, in-house creatives and outside agencies.
• Participate in overall strategy setting for marketing, business development and product efforts

Job Requirements:
• Strong product or brand marketing background, 4-8 years.
• Business-to-business marketing experience is a big plus, as is e-commerce experience.
• Experience in the payments industry, ideally on the acquiring side is ideal but not required
• A track record of strategy development and thought leadership
• Energetic personality with strong leadership skills; this is a high-profile position
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and handle multiple activities simultaneously
• People management experience is ideal but not required
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
