BUSINESS ANALYST/SOURCE DATA ANALYST

 

 

Overview

 

Position reports to the Data Operations Team Leader and serves as an analytical project lead for the end-to-end process for development of the business/technical requirements throughout the data load cycle. The role includes relationships with each data provider, analyzing data, writing the business requirements, and end-user testing.

 

 

Job Function

 

·         Oversees and performs the planning, scheduling & testing of data loading to ensure that data meets design specifications, product display and time to market Implement agreed upon tactics to support Carfax’s objectives (maximize sales, boost awareness, build brand credibility, educate dealers and consumers, etc.)

·        Conducts data analysis for content and consistency for data quality and maximizes the return of the investment in the data.

·        Maintains customers/data provider relationships from post-contract and ongoing account management.

·        Manages projects necessary to develop and maintain receivables and deliverables.

·        Identifies and troubleshoots data related issues.

 

 

Qualifications Strong computer skills in MS Office applications primarily in MS Excel.Experience performing data analysis and demonstration of presenting results in a simple and clear manner. Demonstrated ability to define, develop, and complete projects independentlyExperience in MS Access, SPSS highly preferred Experience working with external customers preferredAutomotive knowledge preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.CARFAX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
