Rconnection is a leading reseller of domain name and Internet services, enabling e-businesses to offer domain name registration and other Web related products to their customers. Our reseller partners include ISPs, Web Hosts, Real Estate companies, Legal professionals, Directories and Portals.
Job Summary
Register.com is seeking a highly motivated, smart, entrepreneurial business development athlete who will report to the VP of Sales for Rconnection. This position is responsible for Business Development on a national level and requires an ambitious sales person that consistently demonstrates the ability to acquire new accounts that generate in excess of $100k annually. Over 75% of the job requires prospecting new business while 25% focuses on nurturing existing accounts. The candidate should have a passion for their work and a desire for excellence and the integrity to inspire the team.
Principal Responsibilities:
Register.com Business Development Executives are responsible for generating and sustaining profitable revenue streams from the sale of domains, email and other Web development services, as well as from existing clients.Establish and maintain relationships with strategic buying influences at agent/client organizations in order to monitor and maintain customer satisfaction levels and to uncover opportunities for new projects and services.Work closely and effectively with senior management and colleges from support groups within Register.com. He/She will be responsible for managing all phases of the sales cycle including proposal development.Focus on expanding his/her business base by attending local networking events and by establishing relationships with professionals form alliance/business partners.Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotasCall prospective customers in designated market area to qualify leads and explain products and services offered and close salesTrack all relevant sales activity using company CRM (including calls, prospect pipeline, lead management, account notes, etc.)Follow-up on active and incoming LeadsGenerate regular reports demonstrating quota attainment and lead lifecycleWork with account management team to ensure partner success

Education:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
Experience:Minimum of 3-4 years experience in the technology sector ( Web Services experience a plus) At least 2 years B2B outside sales experience; preferable channel sales
