Business Development Senior Manager

Description:eBay Motors has quickly become the world’s largest online marketplace for the buying and selling of vehicles, parts and accessories. Several key partnerships* – representing significant revenues and expense – have been established to support eBay Motors continued growth. The position interacts regularly with functional groups across eBay (i.e. product management, product development, category management, marketing, branding, legal, risk management, accounting, etc…) develop new programs and to maximize value to both the partner and the eBay community – ensuring mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships. Primary responsibilities include: Identifying and evaluating products and services that can improve the marketplace for buyers and sellers. Identifying / researching / interviewing and qualifying prospective service providers Developing partnership approach, and structuring / negotiating partnerships Renegotiating/restructuring existing agreements (as required)* Partnerships include relationships for financing, shipping, assurance and transaction related buyer / seller services.Qualifications:Experience minimum of 5-7 years professional experience 3-5 years of project management experience. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3-5 years of business development, negotating, or contract management experience in a technology services company. Internet industry experience considered a plus.  Knowledge Solid understanding of eBay and eBay Motors marketplace. Basic understanding of the software application development process. Knowledge of technologies & languages such as html, Photoshop, and Javascript are a plus. Knowledge of the Automotive Industry is a strong plus.
