It is the challenge of the Client Training Team at Monster to move user knowledge to the next level. But what does that mean? Let’s start with the details: Essential Functions: Provide direction, motivation, and leadership to client trainer(s) in Staffing vertical to ensure clients receive unparalleled customer service and recruiting results Direct the training process to reflect Monster’s position as both an industry and thought leader. This includes the establishment and re-engineering of sourcing and candidate management processes and the integration of industry best practices that help clients better utilize Monster to create recruiting bench strength Responsible for hiring, goal-setting, coaching, and full performance management for training team. Provide Subject Matter Expertise to internal Monster departments to ensure recruiting has a voice in all areas of the organization Build consulting relationships with business unit managers, developing collaborative strategic partnerships that allow for quicker, targeted responses to clients training needs Transform understanding of individual business units and clients into specific plans to better anticipate and respond to training or adoption needs Delivers group and individual training and instruction on usage of Monster products and services Analyzes and assesses training and development needs for individual and/or collective clients Partners with assigned Sales Organization to propose, design, and facilitate customized training programs that meet pre-defined business goals Secondary Functions: Develops training curricula and/or engages appropriate internal departments or Subject Matter Experts to meet instructional goals and objectives Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods May participate in organizational development exercises including strategic planning, group facilitation, team building, and systems analysis for both Enterprise vertical and other Monster departments. Provides input and assists in the planning, assessment, and implementation of overall segment goals and objectives. Maintains current knowledge of trends and issues in both recruiting and training Maintains a current understanding of the Company Plans/Procedures and Policies Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned Qualifications: Confidence (A little ego helps, too!) Personality (Who wants to listen to a boring trainer?) Strong interpersonal communication skills (VERY different than above!) Proven track record as a recruiter (You have to be good, to inspire other to be better!) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (It is the 21st Century.) Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. (Don’t have one? Sell me on why it shouldn’t matter!) Preferences: Minimum of two years demonstrated management experience Minimum of five to seven years of recruiting experience, preferably in a large staffing environment Minimum of two years training/facilitation experience, preferably in a corporate environment Minimum of one year of customer-facing training/facilitation experience Ability to "focus on the details" is as important as the "big picture".
