YELLOWPAGES.COM is an exciting Internet Yellow Pages and local search company headquartered in Glendale, California, that creates and markets the latest products for online advertising, including state-of-the-art wireless, video and audio products. We’ve grown to nearly 1,000 employees nationwide in 18 locations and are hiring to fuel continued growth in Engineering, IT, Operations and Finance, Product Marketing and Consumer Experience. A wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T, YELLOWPAGES.COM offers the resources of a well-established brand name plus the career opportunities of a dynamic start-up. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits including a matching 401(k), bonuses and a casual work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative professional to join our Finance group in Glendale, California. Reporting directly to our Senior Manager of Credit and Collections, this Administrative Assistant will assist management and collectors in the day-to-day operations of a busy Collection Department. Responsibilities include running reports, update and maintain existing collection analysis with current numbers, compile the required information needed to forward an account to the outside collection agency, call customers on charge back disputes, post collection numbers on board, respond to emails sent to the “collection” email box, various clerical duties (including and not limited to: faxing correspondence, pulling contracts, etc.), cross train in our Credit Administrator position to respond to credit card disputes (charge-backs), process return mail and any other projects that may arise. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Run reports to update and maintain existing collection analysis. Send emails to collection team regarding monies collected and update collection board. Assist in clerical duties including and not limited to generating and faxing invoices to customers, pulling contracts for review, etc. Contact customers regarding charge back disputes in the attempt to find resolution Respond to collection emails sent to the collection email box. Assist in the return mail process on collection correspondence by contacting the customer to confirm their billing address and collect past due balances if necessary. Assist in the research and charge back dispute process. Assist with gathering the necessary information on bad debt accounts that will be sent to the collection agency.  QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED is required. 2-5 years of relevant experience in a call center/customer service or similar fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Access. Advanced skills with Excel is a must – spreadsheets, formulas, linking, data analysis, pivot tables, V-look up, Sum if, Count if, graphs, charts. Detail oriented with the ability to communicate effectively and to relay information to higher management. Comprehensive analytical and problem solving skills. Quality control process and ability to complete scheduled tasks in a timely fashion. Ability to interact clearly with internal and external team members. Prior experience within the online advertising industry is a plus. See Job Description
