POSITION SUMMARY:

Deployment Project Manager is responsible for managing projects related to system installations, upgrades, and major repairs. They should fulfill this responsibility by applying knowledge, skills, tools,and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. This will include:Identifying requirements for the unique product, service, or resultEstablishing clear, concise, and achievable objectivesBalancing competing demands for, scope, time, cost, and qualityManaging stakeholder expectations and specifications



The Deployment Project Manager position will be located inChampaign, IL.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ProjectManagement:Adhere to Pavlov Media’s guidelines for project management. Create project management plan for assigned projects.Review scope, budget and timing for each project; review the needs of the projects with stakeholders. Create general purchase orders, requisitions and contracts for all project commitments; manage vendor relationships. Create general project schedule and project Gantt charts; coordinate activities with all Pavlov departments.Coordinate startup and operational activities with all Pavlov departments; manage the transition of the new systems or procedures to Operations; complete and close projects.

Communication:Responds to telephone calls, emails and faxes within the established response standard. Assists clients/residents as needed. Provides standard and ad hoc reports, charts, and graphs when requested. Escalates irresolvable issues to appropriate functional groups. Ensures efficiency and conformity in operation through effective communication with all staff.

Other:Participates in Corporate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client service, efficiency, and profitability. Participates in selected corporate meetings, conferences, conference calls, and planning. Perform other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATIONLEVEL:Vocational degree or equivalent work experience.2 yrs Project Management experience within residential and MDU construction environment a must.PMP certification a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (2000, NT, XP or Vista), Macintosh, Adobe Acrobat. PC hardware and Microsoft Office Suite applications. Travel up to 25% with overnight travel sometimes required.

EXPERIENCE:Supervisory background. Experience in project management.
